In the northeastern region of Nicaragua, members of Unión de Cooperativas Agropecuarias de San Juan del Río Coco, or UCA San Juan, grow high quality organic coffee on small farms. Farmers cultivate coffee the way it’s been farmed for centuries, in an environmentally responsible way.

Founded in 1993, UCA San Juan is a union of eight cooperatives that provides services to a total of 420 coffee farmers. This cooperative is willing to walk the extra mile, they work to improve production and implement programs that have a positive impact on the farmers and their community.

Cupping Notes: A bright and well-balanced coffee, citrus flavor with herbal and nutty notes.
