OUR ROASTERY

Tradition

Our family-owned coffee roaster business has a tradition of innovation spanning more than a century. It all started when our great-grandfather learned how to roast his own coffee beans and got into the coffee business in 1887.

Our family-owned coffee roaster business has a tradition of innovation spanning more than a century. It all started when our great-grandfather learned how to roast his own coffee beans and got into the coffee business in 1887.
As the next generation of our family coffee business, and the authors of the next chapter in our family's story, we're committed to keeping the tradition of bringing the highest quality flavors and aromas to our customers alive through time and adversity. We consider it our duty and privilege to break with convention to share our knowledge with our customers and to empower them to select their own blends.
To make the perfect cup of coffee you need the perfect coffee bean. We're very careful about where our coffee comes from and only source the highest quality beans from around the world. Quality is our top priority, and we consider it our duty to guarantee our coffee's quality, authenticity, and traceability.
Where coffee comes from, and how it's grown, is becoming increasingly important to coffee drinkers everywhere. Nobody wants to drink coffee that was produced in unacceptable social or environmental conditions. Coffee drinkers aren't interested in abstract labels that don't actually tell them anything about the context of the coffee they're buying. A large and growing number of conscientious consumers demand authentic and sustainable practices.
We're always on the lookout for ways to improve our product and our personalized services. To us that means staying up to date on the latest technological innovations and ensuring that we're always sourcing our beans from the finest growers around the world. Only the finest grades of coffee are used in producing Cubico Coffee's Premium blends.
Cubico Coffee is seriously committed to freshness. Every unique blend that you order with us is roasted individually. We put time, labor, and a little bit of ourselves into every bean we sell, and you can taste the difference. We are committed to always producing the perfect roast, and shipping it to you directly.
Packaging is very important to ensuring your coffee's freshness when it arrives. Cubico Coffee is packaged in bags that have a one-way valve that protects its contents against moisture and light. Additionally it keeps the coffee from oxidizing, which promotes proper aging and protects its flavor. Our coffee bag comes inside a beautifully design box. Every individual bag is also stamped with the date and the roaster's name before it's securely boxed for shipping.
Roasting coffee is an art as well as a science and a craft. It doesn't just require knowledge and experience (though it does require those), it takes real passion and an ability to "read the bean" that demands something extra from the roaster. Ensuring that we deliver that extra something is our commitment to our legacy, our product, and our customers.
Cubico Coffee uses a German-engineered Fluid Bed Roaster that has revolutionized the coffee roasting process with its simplicity and effectiveness. This roaster uses carefully regulated hot air to agitate and roast the beans simultaneously. This ensures that the beans maintain a consistent temperature during the roasting process and that they're roasted uniformly.
This technology separates extra material, or "chaff", out into another chamber, which helps to keep unwelcome extra flavors out of the coffee. This machine gives us a higher level of control and very precise results. It allows us to roast orders with unique bean ratios, which means we can make your own personalized blends.
We see ourselves as a technologically driven small-batch roaster who's always pushing new and innovative ideas. We're committed to listen to our customers and to always guarantee our product's quality and freshness. We care about your brew, and we know you'll taste the difference in every cup.
