Brazilian Coffee

Fri, Oct 2, 2015

Coffee was first planted in Brazil in 1727 by Francisco de Melo Palheta. Initially, coffee was grown to supply domestic consumption until demand started to increase around the world. Today, Brazil has a significant role in the coffee industry and has become one of the largest coffee producers.

Coffee plantations in Brazil expand throughout the country and cover immense areas of land in various states such as Minas Gerais, São Paulo, São Paulo, Bahia, Parana and Rondonia. Brazil produces both Arabica and Robusta coffee. The region’s climate, soil quality and altitude will determine which variety of coffee will grow best. For instance, Parana grows exclusively Arabica, will Rondonia grows Robusta; other regions cultivate a given percentage of both varieties.

Brazil processes its coffee using divers methods like washed, pulped natural and natural. However, Natural processed is still the common practice used. Brazil has the perfect weather to do it successfully; therefore they have invested significant time and money to improve the drying system. Such method adds a level of sweetness and complexity to the cup, as it gives lower acidity and more body to the coffee.

Cubico Coffee offers a Brazil Natural with a heavy body, mild sweetness, and nuttiness notes. This coffee truly embodies the Brazilian personality. Try it. You will not be disappointed.
